Content We're Looking For

We publish beginner-friendly and expert-level content on topics such as:

  • Business automation and cloud-based tools

  • SaaS product tutorials or comparisons

  • Inventory, billing, invoicing, and payroll management

  • GST compliance and tax-related automation

  • eCommerce business setup and tools

  • Small business tech stack guides

  • Case studies or user stories featuring cloud software

  • Tips for streamlining business operations with software

  • Secure data management and cloud backup solutions

  • How-to guides for freelancers and small teams using tools like Upstore

What We Don't Accept

  • Previously published content.
  • Topics are unrelated to our website or those that do not provide value to our audience.
  • Promotional content or content that is overly self-promotional.
  • Articles with shallow or generic information.
  • Articles related to Crypto, casino, gaming, adult, CBD, pharma, or other unrelated/spammy websites.

Writing Guidelines

  1. Originality:Your content must be original and not published anywhere else, including your blog. We will not accept any form of plagiarism.
  2. Length:Articles should be between 1,000 and 2,500 words, depending on the topic. Longer, in-depth pieces are welcome if they provide substantial value.
  3. Tone and Style:Write in a conversational and professional tone. Be engaging and informative, and avoid jargon unless necessary.
  4. Structure:Make your content easily read using clear headings, subheadings, and bullet points. Break up text into short paragraphs to maintain readability.
  5. Actionable Insights:Provide actionable advice that our readers can implement. Include real-life examples, case studies, and data to support your points.
  6. Visuals:To complement your content, include relevant images, charts, and infographics. All visuals must be royalty-free or properly credited.
  7. Links:You may include up to 2 backlinks to your website, provided they are relevant and not overly promotional. We reserve the right to remove or edit links if they do not meet our guidelines. UpStore has the right to add internal links anywhere in the article.
  8. SEO Best Practices:Use relevant keywords naturally within your content. Optimize your title, meta description, and headers for search engines.
  9. Citations:Properly cite any statistics, studies, or quotes from other sources. Provide hyperlinks to the source where appropriate.
  10. Editing:We reserve the right to edit your content for clarity, style, and length. We may also provide feedback and request revisions before publication.

Submission Process

  1. Pitch Your Idea:Before writing your article, send us a brief pitch outlining your proposed topic, key points, and how it will benefit our readers. Email your pitch to [editor@upstore.cloud].
  2. Wait for Approval:We’ll review your pitch and reply within 10 days. If your pitch is accepted, you can write the full article.
  3. Submit Your Article:Once ready, submit it as a Google Doc to [editor@upstore.cloud].
  4. Review and Feedback:We’ll review your submission and provide feedback if necessary. The review process may take up to 5 days.
  5. Publication:After the final edits, we’ll schedule your post for publication and notify you once it’s live. We encourage you to share your article with your network.

Promotion

Once your article is published, we’ll promote it across our social media channels and newsletter. We encourage you to do the same to help reach a wider audience.
